For years, diabetes was like a fog that obscured my and others' views of me. She was seen as a fragile person, dependent on medication and with a limited life. But since diabetes stopped being part of my life, everything has changed.
The people around me see me with different eyes. That look of concern and pity was replaced by one of admiration and respect. My friends and family celebrate my achievements and encourage me to move forward. Before, questions about my health were constant, now conversations flow naturally about other topics. It's like I was reborn.
The way people treat me has also changed significantly. Before, I felt excluded from many activities because of my condition. Today, I am invited to everything and actively participate in all events. I feel part of a group, integrated and valued.
The outside world's perspective on me also transformed. Before, I was seen as someone with limitations. Today, I am seen as a strong, determined person capable of overcoming any obstacle. This change in the perception of others drives me to achieve my goals and make my dreams come true.
